CREDENTIALING
Credentialing
of lead pastors, staff ministers, theological students, and lay ministers is a
function of our denominational Office of the Ordered Ministry in partnership with
the Superintendent and the Conference Committee on Ministerial Standing elected
by the Conference Ministerium. Visit the Department
of the Ordered Ministry link on the Covenant's web-site for a complete description
of the types of licenses available and general requirements. An external orientation
program is available through our denominational office for persons interested
in pursuing ministry within The Evangelical Covenant Church. Information regarding
this orientation program is also available on the Covenant web-site, covchurch.org. For
