Judy
Howard Peterson is passionate about communicating
good news in everyday language and putting feet to faith.
Her passion took the form of a walk across the U.S.
while fulfilling an M.Div. internship at North Park
Theological Seminary. Known as the "walking pastor,"
her day-to-day desire is to walk intimately with Jesus
and intentionally into the lives of others. Judy is
the campus pastor at North Park University. She also
gives time to local as well as national and international
speaking. Her down to earth approach and enthusiasm
for squeezing the most out of life are both unique and
contagious. Judy is happily married to Jeff Peterson;
they reside in Chicago, Illinois.
Efrem
Smith, Superintendent of the Pacific Southwest
Conference, has a passion to see lasting life transformation,
communities revitalized to reach the marginalized and
further Kingdom advancement. Previously he served as
founding pastor of The Sanctuary Covenant Church, a
multiethnic church in Minneapolis, MN, where he also
co-founded The Sanctuary Community Development Corporation.
His new book, The Post Black, Post White Church will
release August 1. He enjoys preaching, studying, running,
and good barbecue. Efrem and his wife, Donecia, live
in the San Francisco Bay Area with daughters, Jaeda
and Mireya.
