discernment and prayer in a confidental setting of encouragement and compassion.

Sustaining
Pastoral Excellence Sustaining
Pastoral Excellence (SPE) is a program of the Department of the Ordered Ministry
funded through a Lilly Foundation grant. It is designed to facilitate vitality,
authenticity, growth, and transformation by supporting Christ-centered patterns
and habits among the pastors and missionaries of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
All elements of the program are designed to further growth towards excellence
in the areas of character, competence, and constancy. Funds
are available to aid pastors and missionaries, both as individuals and as groups.
Requests for funding are submitted in a proposal form as outlined on the SPE web-site.

In
need of drama scripts? The PSWC has a tremendous resource in Karen Patitucci,
Performing Arts Director of Hope Center Covenant Church in Pleasant Hill, CA.
Karen has been writing original dramas for Hope Center since its inception over
twenty-five years ago. Presently she has contemporary drama scripts available
for purchase on CDs (15 dramas per CD). Karen may be contacted by telephone at
